Topical Legal Issues – Liability, Rights and Duty of Care

A special 3 hour workshop on these and other legal topics relating to volunteers and paid staff will be conducted by Margaret White, LLM, the Schools legal trainer and long-serving  Anti-Discrimination Board legal officer.

Margaret will present a number of real-life scenario’s relating to:

• Occupational Health and safety
• Risks – identification and management
• Negligence and Duty of Care
• Bullying and harassment
• Handling complaints

The workshop will be held on Thursday, 25 September, 9.15am–12.30pm.  All those with responsibility for managing and supervising volunteers and paid staff will find this workshop highly informative.
