This workshop is designed for people in leadership roles with responsibility for other employees/volunteers and their performance. The Merrill & Reid Social Styles Model is used in this workshop.

Aim

To assist participants understand their responsibilities in relation to managing the performance of their employees/volunteers, and the techniques to do this, so as to achieve positive outcomes for the employee/volunteer and organisation.

  • What is meant by performance management
  • Identifying the different types of “performers”, e.g., high-performers, poor-performers, etc, and the techniques to manage them effectively
  • Identifying and understanding the social or personality style of yourself and your employees/volunteers, and the interaction of the two
  • Delegation as a tool to manage performance
  • Managing the poor performer
  • Developing a Performance Management Action Plan
