New public short courses

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) – A pathway of opportunity

Individual Training
The School has recently introduced a number of individual training options for managers and coordinators of volunteers, with some options offering personal training and tutoring. Workshops conducted by SpeakersBankFollowing pilot workshops conducted in late 2007, the School of Volunteer Management partnered with SpeakersBank to deliver in New South Wales Speak Up! Speak Out! Workshops. The workshops were conducted by Dale Rees-Bevan of SpeakersBank Australia Inc, who has been involved in public speaking and training since 1993. She is an experienced competitor in international speaking competitions and has set-up public speaking programs in South Africa and the UK, which are still running today. Dale was a director of SpeakersBank UK before moving to Australia in 2005 and setting up SpeakersBank Australia, of which she is a director. Read more
